As long ago as the 19th Century artists whose works had been rejected from exhibitions in the grand academic exhibitions in Paris, mounted their own Salon des Refusées. History proved that it was those 'rejected' artists who found fame well beyond those academic style painters who were ultimately doomed by of the caprices of fashion.

It is in that spirit that Deborah Donnelly is opening an exhibition of artists who have been rejected from the prestigious Royal Hibernian Academy of Dublin as the inaugural show of her groundbreaking new gallery - The Bad Art Gallery, 79 Francis Street, Dublin.

Among the many rejected artists will be a number of ArtVitae.com members including Deborah, and John Lauder Davies.
