Roads to Freedom is the title of John Lauder Davies' exhibition of colourful and intricate abstract watercolour paintings at the Airfield House, Dundrum, Dublin 14. This excellent exhibition set in a very grand venue opens May 16, 2006.

PROFILE is title of a new exhibition of the works of painter John Lauder Davies at the Clonmel Library, Clonmel, Ireland. This exhibition will include his latest series of works, as well as a retrospective of a selection of works representing some of his earliers themes. The show opens Monday the 3rd of April 2006.

The artistic juices are gushing all over South Tipperary County, Ireland, this pre-Christmas season.

Squaring Up is the title of the exhibit at the South Tipperary Arts Centre, 28 November to 19 December.

On Sunday November 30th at 2:30, the recently opened Narrow Space Gallery, Fourteen Mitchel Street, Clonmel (phone +353 (0)52 27838) will hold its Inaugrural Group Show.

The Sliabh na mBan Artists Group (phone +353 (0)52 33718) will hold an exhibition and sale accompanied by accomplished Celtic harpist Steve Haggerty on Friday from 8 PM and afternoon on Saturday December 12/13 on the sunny side of Sliabh na mBan mountain in the community hall of the beautiful and histroic village of Kilcash.

Collectively these exhibitions will draw the works of over 50 artist from Ireland and beyond to South Tipperary. This is also a good opportunity to view 'in the flesh' the works of a number of ArtVitae.com member artists exhibiting in these shows including: John Davies, Ella Kavanagh, Michael Loyer, Miriam D. Robinson, Jessica Roth, Desmond Shortt, John Keating, Eoin de Leastar, and Gerard Casey.

From the fifth to the end of April, John Davies will be exhibiting at the Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny, Ireland. "From the Sublime to the Ridiculous" is the title of this year's show at the Watergate, which seems to have become an annual venue for John. In a departure from previous exhibitions of his work, this show includes Photocollages as well as his more familiar Paintings. This exhibition is promoted by the Kilkenny County Council Arts Office.
