Deborah Donnelly was born in a convent 23 years ago on a cold, rainy day in Ireland. She graduated from the National College of Art and Design Dublin and backpacked Europe financing it by painting portraits and pilfering. In 1998 Deborah arrived in Georgia, America, Where she was given an internship with the artist Bill Hendrix whom unfortunately had died on Deborahís arrival. Lost and alone Deborah turned to teaching in Cambridge and studied American Art History in Harvard University. On winning the Visa lottery Deborah Came back to the States where she lived in Hawaii and worked on a series of cow paintings. She works mainly with bold, bright Brush strokes and is influenced mainly by the expressionistic painters of Europe. Deborah now has a studio in Lowell, MA, USA and is preparing for a solo exhibit in her new home the Big Apple.
