DOMINOES derived from the latin word "dominus" which meant (master of the house). One of the earliest domino sets found was located in China and dated to around 1120AD. The earliest written references written in the western world date from around the 18th Century when domino games were played in France and Italy. Standard domino sets consisted of 28 tiles that display all the outcomes of throwing a pair of dice. Domino stones traditionally are black and white pips and historians first referred to the word, domino , to a type of monastic hood worn by Christian priests. The Domino Effect is inspired by a series of antique domino sets that have been in the family for many , many years.
