In my work I explore colour . I focus on pure colour and composition. Basically it is the artist, the canvas , the colour and the brush. I push beyond realism to build images that have urgency and power. It is a journey attempting to understand myself and existence, to give through my painting definition to the essence of being in the universe. My need to create Art is as strong as anyones need to live. My paintings are charged with masses of energy which cause the surface to move in vibrant harmony. The inner pulse that guides my work dictates my longing for colour and forms, and explores my imagination and inner experience.
